Get into Sports!
If you’re already active, you know that sports are a great way to stay fit, make friends and learn new and fun skills. Studies show that kids who play sports regularly do better in school, are healthier and have a better attitude – this means being able to handle ALL that life throws at you better, and that’s cool!

Staying active and working hard to reach your goals motivates you to keep on going – not just in sports but in every aspect of your life.
You will build strength in your body – for example, soccer and track and field work and build your leg muscles, while tennis and swimming build and strengthen your arms and shoulders. Participating in any sport you love helps develop hand-eye coordination, agility and flexibility (make sure you stretch before and after!).
You will also build mental strength – for example, you will increase your ability to concentrate on a task, to keep going after what you want, and to resolve conflicts in a friendly, ‘everybody wins’ way.
No matter what you like to do, there is an activity or sport you will love. Explore lots and discover some sports you love! If you need some ideas, here is a list of activities and sports you could play:
